The main reason you will develop a leak is, the particulate that is forced through your air lines and into the fill station. Even fairly "clean" air takes its toll on seals. While we made the Unit extremely heavy duty it all will eventually come down to the weakest link and that's the seal that opens to release the rush of air past it and into the receiving tank.
That process, while a necessity, virtually "sand blasts" the seal surface with particulate.
We have made our delrin seals as durable as possible yet extremely easy to swap out. The better you filter your air the longer they last.
